From the portfolio

A Sunday wedding gets the same service as a Saturday one. The same inquiry call, the same mood board and proposal, the same delivery, install and breakdown. Nothing about the design is scaled back because of the day it lands on.

Sundays suit the venues we work in most often. Osteria and Southwark in Philadelphia are restaurants, and the wedding is a buyout of a room that is already good-looking before a stem arrives. Martha in Kensington is a bar with an enclosed garden. The BESPOKE and Hearthside pair in Collingswood works the same way. None of these need a heavy floral hand, which is part of why they work well on a smaller weekend day.

Three-day holiday weekends are the easiest Sunday to plan around, because guests traveling in still have the Monday. If a Sunday date is on your shortlist, ask your venue and your other vendors directly how they price it. That answer varies venue by venue and it is not ours to give.

We are booking through 2027. We serve Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean and New Castle counties across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, including Audubon, Philadelphia, New Hope, Cape May and Wilmington.

South Stems is an event and corporate floral studio. We do not offer retail arrangements, same-day gift delivery or walk-in service.

Questions we get asked

Are Sunday dates easier to book with you?

Generally yes. Our Sunday calendar has more open dates on it than our Saturday calendar, which is the main practical reason to consider one.

Do you price a Sunday wedding differently?

Our proposal is built from your flower list, your venue and your guest count. How your venue, your caterer and your other vendors price a Sunday is a question to put to each of them directly, and it is worth asking early.
